Trash Mongerers

If u ask any student anywhere in UK (U of Kentucky) where to find some cheap second hand items in the place, he would without a doubt point to the "TRASHBINS". Sounds a little bit weird though, but so far after exploring around my apartment i have found 2 cardboard almiras and one lamp in excellent condition. I guess if i sell any of these outside in indian market, i will get a fortune for these things but i guess here its just trash.

All our seniors have furnished their room with luxurious brand new couches by picking from u know where! well so far my hunt for finding a couch has proved unsuccessful and everytime i try to find a couch, i end up taking something else back home :D.

There are cases reported of finding TVs, DVD players and u name it. i guess the resale value for these materials is pretty close to nothing tat these ppl consider trashing a lesser effort than finding a resale. I hope i could find a car someday like this :) Well in India, even if its broken and beyond use, we still use it. I do remember my mum fighting vehemently for holding to rubbish when they should have been discarded eons ago.

If ur thinking "hooo.....wats wrong with this guy? y has he become a trashmongerer?". I didnt find nothing wrong, even the locals here do tat :) In Rome do as romans do...

So the hunt continues....
