My First road trip!!!

General Destination: Nashville, Tennessee Exact Location:Vinayagar Temple

Well I really look in wonder at people who can plan their time and life properly and execute it to the T. As far as i am concerned, i just go with the flow. Planning is never for me and all my best laid plans always go astray.

So I had nothing spectacular in my mind after my semester exams, when I got a call from my friend asking me if We could go to Nashville to visit the Vinayaga temple. It is like 4 hour drive from here. Well after some 2 weeks of non-stop slogging, i was willing to do anything to get out of here...and so it began. All the planning it required for the trip was 30 mins, that too was spent enquiring if ppl r ready for the trip or not.

And so it began, We hired an SUV and a gang of 7 GUYS(by now u wouldve realized that we guys r totally useless and can never really go out anywhere with a gal :D ) drove to that place. It was quite an experience as this was my first road trip out of lexington. Had a peaceful prayer infront of lord muruga statue inside the temple.

But obviously the high point of the trip was our visit to the Indian Restaurant called "Woodlands".As it was a buffet, We ate for 2 days at one shot that day :D.My roommate ate for 4 days as the my cooking turn was for the next two days :D. I really am desperate to eat some good food, my taste buds r long dead ...

Which again reminds me of the fact that i got to rush, as some of my friends r going to an indian restraurant now... and for all u ppl back in India, dont take ur food for granted. Think of ppl like me and b happy that atleast u guys getting good food :) Live it Up!!
